Hi there, Mr. Reid. My name is [Teacher]. Thank you so much for coming in today.

Mr. Reid 0:09
Hi, nice to meet you.

Teacher 0:11
How was your day?

Mr. Reid 0:14
You know, it’s pretty good. I’m busy at work and stuff. So um, I mean, I’m just on my lunch break, kinda, but I’m happy to come in and talk about my little girl.

Teacher 0:27
Well, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to come chat with me. I really appreciate it. I want to start by saying Katie’s a really great student. She’s reading above grade level. She’s doing really well in class and I’m so proud of her.

students.

Mr. Reid 0:43
That’s good to hear. Yeah.

Teacher 0:45
So um, the reason I asked you to come is because I’ve noticed that Katie’s been having some difficulties with social interactions with peers. She’s been a little withdrawn from her peers and not hanging out with them. She tends to stay to herself. I was wondering if it’s something that you’ve noticed in her behavior at home or if you just have some insight that I could use to help.
