Note: The scoring is a bit off– to figure out your score, just count back from the total score. There were ten scoring items, but the automatic scoring also includes a point for each open choice item and the rating of the difficulty.
So I just kind of wanted to come in today and just kind of talk to you about just kind of how we can get Katie more excited and talkative in the classroom.. She’s definitely Super into reading her books, but I would really like to see her just kind of, you know, kind of come out of that shell and her world inside books and just kind of talk about them maybe even just like, with a whole class and just her peers will come up to her and she’ll talk to them, but… Teacher 01:19 no, she’s absolutely fine. I just want to make sure that she’s getting the best classroom experience. And that’s why I’ve come to you and just want to make sure that we give her the full experience, you know, which includes just like, having those awesome conversations with her students with her peers. And just even if that is just about books, you know, |

Teacher 01:46 Yeah, um, I did want to meet and discuss her social interactions. Okay. I can I just think she’s struggling with those. Really. Yeah. So she doesn’t really she doesn’t talk to her peers and she talks to me there minimally. It’s mostly when I am the one to talk to her first. And then when she replies, it’s very minimal, and she’s very quiet and oh, wow, this doesn’t seem very like she wants to talk. |

Teacher 00:42 Yeah, she’s very, um, she’s very quiet, which is, you know, it’s obviously you know, obviously it’s okay. Quiet students are just very nice presences in the classroom. But I do sometimes worry that in my class, there’s a lot of discussion and group work and she doesn’t always seem to want to participate in those things. So I just wanted to address some of my concerns with you. And hopefully by the end of this meeting, we can work together to establish some sort of plan for how I can support Katie better. |

Teacher 00:43 Um, but I did want to talk to you today just because of just because it’s something I’ve noticed with her. Um, I’ve just noticed that recently, she’s been very, or well like so far throughout the year, she’s just been very kind of quiet and to herself a lot of the time. She would often. like she often, she’d often just be alone doing independent work. And her and, and her interactions with her peers are very brief and short and often initiated by other people….And so I just wanted to talk to you about just if this is like normal for her, if she’s really like this at home, or if she’s been like this in the past, and how I can best support her to feel comfortable and welcomed in our classroom community. |
